CrossFit gaat verder dan fitnessen en wisselt hoge intensiteit training af met functionele bewegingen.  De oefeningen in de work out of the day (WOD) hebben altijd te maken met natuurlijke lichaamsbewegingen zoals tillen, duwen, trekken, springen, rennen, stoten of klimmen. Tijdens de workout maak je gebruik van voorwerpen zoals barbells, kettlebells, dumbells, zandzakken, touwen.       <image:caption>Een training start altijd met een specifieke warming-up voor de WOD die volgt. Een goede warming up daagt je uit en maakt je enthousiast voor de workout. Zo start je aan het tofste uur van je dag! De workout wordt door de coach uitgelegd en daarna ga je individueel of in een tweetal aan de gang! De coach begeleid je tijdens de workout en zorgt ervoor dat je effectief en veilig beweegt. De trainingen zijn nooit hetzelfde, dit houdt het uitdagend en leuk!</image:caption>

      <image:caption>CrossFit wordt bij Dwars in small group training gegeven. Het gemiddelde aantal sporters per training is 12 personen. Zo krijg je de persoonlijke aandacht die bij een CrossFit les past. Je doet alle oefeningen op eigen niveau. Of je nu net begint of gevorderd bent. Onze CrossFit trainingen worden in small group aangeboden met maximaal 16 personen. Alle niveaus zitten bij elkaar in de workout en iedereen helpt elkaar om scherp te blijven op de trainen. Het juiste niveau daagt je uit om telkens weer beter te worden en houdt het leuk zodat je weer uitkijkt naar de volgende training. Denk je dat het te moeilijk voor je is. Geen nood, bij de coaches van DWARS ben je in goede handen. In het intakegesprek leren we elkaar kennen en bespreken we de eerste trainingen. Ook als je een lange tijd niet gesport hebt kan je goed mee in de training. Wij zeggen niet voor niks: Iedereen Fitter!</image:caption>
